The Sacramento Snipers are off to a 10-1 start and thought nothing could be better, the team was playing great basketball and are amongst the leader both team and individual stats, then the phone rang in Snipers GM Gerry Tessier’s office and it was Gregory Santiago’s agent requesting a meeting with him.

It was the best news that Sacramento Snipers GM Gerry Tessier could have heard.  Gregory Santiago wanted a contract extension worth $87,491,098.00 over 4 years. “Once Gregory’s (Santiago) agent contacted us with the news and the total value of his new contract, I did a happy dance. I was ready to fight tooth and nail for him come the off season.” Says Sniper GM Gerry Tessier.

Gregory Santiago is a premium Power Forward (Who can step into the Centre position when needed) one of the best if not the best players at his position, he is near the top of league in Blocks and rebounds every year all while scoring 20 plus point per game. He is considered by Snipers GM Gerry Tessier one of the three headed beast who someday will lead this team to the coveted world championship, (Lynwood Emmert and Luis Wendling are the other two).

The Snipers are looking for the same good fortune next season when another super star is on his last year of his contract. “Let’s face it without getting Lynwood Emmert back long term this teams plans are for not. Lynwood (Emmert) is the current league MVP and I am willing to break the bank for him to be here in Sacramento his entire career, we look forward to this challenge of bringing a championship the great fans off the Sacramento Snipes, they truly deserve it.” Added Snipers GM Gerry Tessier.
