The Minnesota Marauders picked up where they left off, building on the momentum of a big finish to round two with a resounding 112-100 win over the Boston Buzzards in game one of the conference finals.

Minnesota started red hot, outscoring the Buzzards 30-18 in the first quarter, and their offense stayed hot, scoring 32 in the second and 36 in the third. They cooled off in the final frame, but the damage was already done.

Tony Pence did the heavy lifting with 37 points, along with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Andrew Lawler added 23 points. Raphael Stokes (13) and Jame Trotman (12) rounded out scorers in double-digits. Ervin Holmes did little on offense, but made his presence felt with 10 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 4 assists.
